  The International Symposium on Electrocatalysis (Electrocat2018) has been organized by Faculty of Chemistry and Center for Biological and Chemical Research, University of Warsaw together with Committee of Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences. The symposium has status of a satellite event of the 2018 Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry in Bologna, Italy. Furthermore it sponsored by the Electrochemical Society, particularly by the ECS Physical Analytical Electrochemistry Division, the ECS European Section, Springer and other institutions. The goal has been to make the Electrocat2018 symposium an interdisciplinary forum for exchange of ideas and discussion of new results and crucial achievements in area of the science and technology of electrocatalysis and photoelectrocatalysis. The symposium includes both invited and contributed papers on all aspects of electrocatalysis.
