  The first workshop for collaborators and potential users is jointly organized between the HHG and MAC research teams. The HHG-team is working on the development of intense coherent XUV sources through the High Harmonic Generation (HHG) process. The MAC research team is developing the multi-purpose user end-station for experiments in atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) sciences and coherent diffractive imaging (CDI). The workshop is aiming on bringing together theoretical and experimental research groups working on the development and applications of advanced XUV light sources. The scope of the workshop is to discuss recent achievements and perspectives in photon science and to build the user community around ELI_HHG & MAC experimental teams.
