  Dear Colleagues, This is the first announcement of the 3d annual conference “Dynamics, Bifurcations, and Strange Attractors”, which well be held in July 18-22, 2016. The conference is organized by the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod as a part of the ongoing research project "Dynamics and bifurcations of dissipative and conservative systems" (2014-2016) funded by Russian Science Foundation. The themes of the conference include: Bifurcations and strange attractors Hamiltonian and mixed dynamics Applications of dynamical systems The topics are inspired by many great contributions by L. Shilnikov to the field. In particular, we want to dedicate the conference to the 50 years anniversary of the discovery of spiral chaos. The conference will also feature a workshop offering introductory and advanced minicourses for students, postdocs and interested researchers. We invite you, as well as students and members of your group, to participate at the conference. We expect that a certain financial support (pending a budgetary approval by Russian Science Foundation) will be available to cover cost of lodging for junior participants. The conference will be followed by the Volga Neuroscience Meeting where the workshop Dynamics in Life Sciences is also supported by the same Russian Science Foundation project. The conference will be held on board of a river cruise ship, starting in St.Petersburg on July 24 and finishing in Nizhny Novgorod on July 30.
