  The theme of SICAST 2019 is “Recent Progress in THz Science & Technology and Applications". One hour is allotted to each Plenary Speaker, 50 minutes for presentation followed by 10 minutes for questions. Each Invited Speaker is also required to submit the manuscript of his presentation to the Journal of Terahertz Science and Technology (TST) for publication. TST is linked to SICAST, is registered in the USA and is the first academic journal specifically devoted to Terahertz Science and Technology in the world. It has no publication charges and is free to read and download. Speakers of SICAST are solicited by invitation only. SICAST will provide an excellent environment for delegates to get to know each other and exchange views freely and in depth. All expenses will be covered by the conference (round-trip economy airfare, local transportation, accommodation and meals in Shenzhen).All speakers are asked to avoid any sensitive matters so that all participants can enjoy a free exchange of scientific information.
