Workshop is dedicated to the memory of John Porter (1968-2005). Meeting addressed the questions of the formation mechanisms of the different typesof stars with the B[e] phenomenon, and some interesting ideas that were proposed especially for the B[e] supergiants like the possibility of binary mergers to create rapidly rotating single stars, or single star evolution with specific initial conditions like rapid rotation and magnetic fields. These suggestions can and should be tested observationally.
