One of the problems of seismic data registration is the need to provide a huge input dynamic range. We have developed a new small-size low-power data acquisition system based on a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter. The system does not require permanent connection to a PC and has a low cost. It is built on a modular-block principle that allows ones to flexibly change as the number of completely independent input data channels used and the type/model of the controller in accordance with the requirements of tasks being solved. A variant of constructing data acquisition system functioning on the base of a Raspberry Pi 3 microcomputer will be present as one of the possible configurations. This system will be especially useful for working as part of mobile seismic stations.
