Аннотация доклада:
In newly formed motor synapses Ca2+ influx through L-type channels activates release of Ca2+ from intracellular stores, which leads to depression of evoked release of acetylcholine but not spontaneous release. An unusual ability of calcium entering the nerve terminal via L-type Ca2+-channels and released from intraterminal Ca2+-stores to inhibit mediator secretion is discussed as a specific mechanism of elimination of nerve terminals and synapses when excessed polysynaptic innervation of a target cell exists.
