Day "Women and girls in Astronomy" was held on February 13 at the Astronomical Institute. Sternberg (Moscow University). A special scientific session was organized in the celebration program. At this session, presentations were made on the life and scientific contribution of the most famous women astronomers of the past, as well as on the current achievements of our women. As part of the celebration, a competition of poster presentations of women astronomers of the Institute, an exhibition of monographs, textbooks and catalogues published by them in recent years. In addition, there were presented globes of the moon, Venus, Mars and Jupiter, made by women of the Department of Physics of the Moon and planets.
