Аннотация доклада:
Recently, 2-thiohydantoin and its derivatives have attracted scientists attention. By modification of 2-thiohydantoin fragment, analogs of biologically active substances and natural alkaloids can be produced. While S-alkylation of 2-thiohydantoin derivatives is a well known transformation, arylation of sulfur atom is mentioned only in a single publication. We have optimised the conditions of arylation of 5-arylmethylene-3-substituted-2-thioxoimidazolin-4-ones with boronic acids in presence of copper.
