Style transfer is a problem of rendering one image (called content) in the style of another image (called style). We highlight the weakness of traditional style transfer algorithm, that it cannot preserve depth map of the image during stylization, whereas depth map is an important property for human visual perception. We propose an extension to traditional algorithm, that allows depth preservation during stylization and compare proposed method with traditional one qualitatively and by means of a user evaluation study.
