After the milestone discovery of the gravitational waves the new research opportunities have appeared in astronomy and astrophysics. Rare and extreme phenomena in cosmic space such as a supernova or a merging of a binary system of massive stars might be simultaneously observed in the electromagnetic, neutrino and gravitational wave channels and promptly analyzed in the first order. Borexino as a neutrino detector is a member of the SuperNova Early Warning System (SNEWS) and the Gravitational Wave-Neutrino group (GWNU). At present the communities are uniting in order to jointly monitor the sky in real time and analyze the collected and shared data in online and offline modes. As a result, an upgrade of the related Borexino software tools is ongoing as well as an estimation of the Borexino capabilities for the multimessenger astronomy. The talk reviews the status of these activities and presents the prospects.
