An outlook on solar panels use for street lighting in Moscow parks is presented. Foreground (most used in dark time) paths for lightning were defined for each park. These paths’ openness to sunlight was characterized. It defines a perspectivity of solar panels use in parks. The cost of lighting equipment was calculated based on schemes of paths. Results of the research demonstrated that in 84% of Moscow parks might be fully supplied by electricity produced by installed street lighting with solar panels.
