We analyze the magnetic configurations and evolutions of three active regions, NOAA10488, 10484 and 9026, which were all of Ї°± type according to Mount Wilson Magnetic Classification. While the three regions were in different phase, of which NOAA 10488 was newly emerging, NOAA 10484 was mature, NOAA 9026 was decaying. Furthermore, the evolution characters of the regions were quiet distinct from one another. In describing these characters, Mount Wilson Magnetic Classification shows some shortage. In the present paper we analyze the magnetic configurations and evolutions of the regions with total magnetic flux (Fa), tilt angle (Tilt) and structural parameter (Hu). Then plotting the results in bubble diagrams and comparing the track of the bubbles with its corresponding magnetic evolution, we can study the configurational evolution of an active region quantitatively. It have been found: (1) Quantitative analysis shows us the evolution of the magnetic field of an active region clearly and intuitively. (2) We can fine the existed classification by quantitative analysis, especially when active regions are of identical type according to Mount Wilson Magnetic Classification.
