The purpose of this session is to consider some of the current problems of economic science in the representation of Russian and Bulgarian economists. The first goal is to test the Allai`s model on the case about inflation processes in Russia after the revolution of 1917 and after the collapse of the USSR in 90-s XX. Specificity of perception of this phenomenon was connected with its historical and social roots. This process reflected the crisis of the entire socio-economic system of the country. It was not connected with the cyclical nature of economic development, or some features of financial and monetary policy, but with the deep processes of changing the mechanism of economic functioning. Is it possible in this case to apply the methods of quantitative modeling? What will be the quality of the results of this methodology? The second goal is to consider the problems of applying quantitative methods in modern economic science in the field of studying the history of economic doctrines. For Russian science, the development of quantitative methods is not an obvious process. The possibility of applying such methods in the history of economic thoughts is not particularly obvious. Opinions of supporters and opponents of this process will be investigated and compared. The third goal of the session is to consider the historical precedent of corporate banking development in 20-s XX in Bulgaria. Cooperative credit institutions unions as an alternative to capitalist credit were considered in the theory and practice of both Western and Eastern European countries. The experience of the development of the cooperative credit system was studied and discussed in the works of A. Chayanov and other representatives of the Organizational and production school in Russia. This session presents the theories that were developed in Bulgaria at the same time.
