HR Del (1967) is one of the brightest old novae known, exibited some unusual properties during the outburst. In continuous effort to monitor old novae, the numerous UBV photometric observations of HR Del were carried out with 60cm telescope of Sternberg Astronomical Institute in Crimea between 2001 and 2005. Analysis of overall light curve of HR Del constructed by all data reveals the presence of long-term variability in this system. In order to better understanding this variability the high resolution spectra of H_alpha of HR Del have been taken with the AURELIE spectrograph of the Haute Provence Observatory. The color behavior of this system is also considered.
