Powder of neodymium di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate (NdA3) was synthesized. The complex was identified by FTIR, XRD, STA–MS, SEM and EDX. The molar heat capacity has been measured from 183 to 300 K by differential scanning calorimetry. A linear combination of Einstein functions has been used to approximate the measured values. Thermodynamic functions of NdA3 (Cp(T), S°(T), H°(T)−H°(0)) have been estimated.
