An important task of modern chemistry is to establish the relationship between the compo-sition, structure and physical properties of a substance. Tracing such correlations is most convenient on the families of isostructural compounds. Thus, the mineral Francisite is the ancestor of a whole family of compounds. The study and comparison of the structure and physical properties for Francisite and its derivatives is of great interest for scientists. The goal of our work was an attempt to obtain compounds of two different composi-tions using various solid-phase synthesis techniques, using an ampoule synthesis and a gas transport reaction.
