Study was made to reveal change and current state of the Black sea coast landscapes of Russia which undergo different prolonged anthropogenic impact in combination with periodic influence of natural processors. The Abrau Peninsula with nature reserve “Utrish” and Tuapse surroundings with various land changes were chosen as the main study areas. Several periods with different types of land use and changes were revealed with increasing of uncontrolled recreation, construction of new roods, pine-lines and oil terminals during the last decades. Large-scale landscape maps, land use and landscape change based on the fieldwork and remote sensing analysis have been compiled to the study area. A series of applied maps for different types of land use (agriculture, forestry, residential, recreation and conservation purposes) as well as the map of “conflict zones” in the land use and the integral scheme of landscape planning have been also done. Some measures for improving the current state and restoration of landscapes were suggested.
