Аннотация доклада:
The selective site of ethyne adsorption are Au3 fragments on which μ-bridging complexes are formed. The activation of ethyne on such active sites will facilitate the fast hydrogenation to ethene followed by the subsequent adsorption from the surface. The processes that obstruct selective hydrogenation on gold clusters have high activation energies.
