Phenomena of the solar activity at different levels in the outer atmosphere and various time-scales are considered in the context of effects on late-type stars. The place of the solar activity among processes on other low-massive stars is discussed. Main factors of formation of solar-type activity are considered including axial rotation, differential rotation and the thickness of the convection zone. Various paths of the evolution of solar-type activity versus stellar masses and features of magnetic fields are discussed. The origin of the cycles and development of non-stationary processes are briefly considered.
