In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have rooted in our lives. We use smart systems when we build routes in the navigator, communicate with voice assistants, send requests in search browsers. There are various opinions about the effects of the introduction of AI technologies. Some people see a lot of positive effects in it, while others note a large number of potential risks. To determine the most and least relevant areas of use of AI technologies, we decided to conduct a qualitative study. The results of the study were able to identify the most and least relevant areas in terms of the introduction of AI technologies and highlight the positive and negative consequences of this introduction. According to experts, the biggest number of positive effects from the use of AI is expected in such areas as healthcare, industry and agriculture. The main positive consequences are automation and optimization of labor, minimizing errors caused by the human factor, improving the quality of products and provided services. Experts also identified areas with a large number of potential risks due to the introduction of AI technologies. It was healthcare, the labor market and transport. The main potential risks may be technological errors that can harm human life, minimization of the human factor in areas where it is especially important, and structural unemployment. That’s why it is important to monitor the process of implementing AI technologies carefully in order to maximize positive effects and improve people's lives with help of smart assistants.
