Nowadays, development of the stimuli-responsive photonic structures presents an important task due to their unique optical properties promising for the different applications in photonic. In this work we present a new approach for the creation of phototunable photonic crystals based on porous silicon photonic crystal (PhC) filled with photochromic LC mixtures. The possibility of the reversible shift of the photonic band gap by UV-irradiation has been demonstrated.
