The conditions in the stellar wind at the close orbit of the exoplanet HD 209458 b, previously also known as Osiris, are examined in detail. Using with updated parameters a paraboloid model of the magnetosphere developed for exoplanets, the structure of the magnetosphere was constructed depending on the Alfven Mach number and stellar wind. It is shown how, with an increase in the magnitude of the magnetic field of the stellar wind and, accordingly, with a decrease in the Alfven Mach number to values less than 1, Alfven wings arise instead of a comet-like magnetosphere with a bow shock in front of it.
