At the moment world stocks of unclaimed elemental sulfur are estimated as tens of millions of tons, so it is very important to design modern ways of its transformation to different sulfur containing compositions, e.g., polymer sulfur having a number of valuable properties. This transformation could be carried out using radiation of different types – ionizing or microwave radiation.
