Long-term studies conducted at the Institute of Biomedical problems (IMBP, Moscow) with the direct participation of IB Kozlovskaya, showed that a sharp decrease in the activity of the support afferent entrance, specifically oriented to the perception and analysis of gravitational loads and firmly embedded in the mechanisms of organizing postural synergism, first of all, to changes in the functioning of the tonic muscular system. The established regularities formed the basis for the development of new methods for the prevention and correction of adverse effects of weightlessness, applied with high efficiency in long space flights.Subsequently, these methods were used in a neurological clinic as a compensator for supporting unloading and a suit of axial loading Regent.
