Описание:This course aims to help the students to develop an awareness of the concept of culture and its influence on management practices and organizational functioning, and to develop cultural sensitivity as an ability to understand and analyze the behavior of people in the cross-cultural context.
The course will start with the exploration of the concept of national culture and its dimensions in order to understand underlying determinants of behavior of people with different cultural backgrounds. Then the issues of cross-cultural interaction will be addressed, including perceptions, communication and leadership. At the end of the course group presentations will be held as a means of getting to know other cultures.
