Аннотация:The crystal structure of a high-temperature modification of LaBSiO5 , a synthetic analog of the mineral stillwellite, was established by an X-ray diffraction study of a single crystal at 200°C. The lower Curie point (Tc = 140°C) of this compound compared to those of other synthetic stillwellites was attributed to the structural features. The phase ferroelectric–paraelectric transition is associated with the change in symmetry from frame031 to frame13121 and with the loss of polarity along the c axis of the structure.
