Аннотация:We demonstrated a real possibility of using PFD as a reporter molecule to determine a detailed regional distribution of T1 and pO2 values in the area of location of C6 rat brain glioma. We showed that magnetically equivalent 19F nuclei forming the peak 4 in 19F NMR spectrum which has a chemical shift of about -140 ppm in relation to the chemical shift of trifluoroacetic acid δ = -76.55 ppm are the most appropriate for 19F MRI oximetry method. In our studies, the volume of PFD equal to 50 μl was optimal for obtaining reliable data on measurement of the oxygen partial pressure in the area of tumor location. In turn, in case of the use for 19F MRI oximetry method PFCE or HFB, it is necessary to inject less than 30 μl. Reduce the injection volume of PFD can be implemented by using improved RF coils, for example, quadrature RF coils operating at the resonance frequency of 19F nuclei. In addition, the use of only trans-isomer of PFD for 19F MRI oximetry method appears to be promising too.
