Аннотация:Measurements obtained by phase-difference radio tomography along the Moscow - Arkhangelsk corridor, which crosses the region of the main ionospheric trough (MIT) and is situated near the Plesetsk rocket range, are presented. There are three stations for receiving signals from navigation satellites and two sampling ionospheric sounders along the corridor. In experiments performed at the end of May 1993 an anomalous MIT at subauroral latitudes (L < 4.5) was observed in the daytime during the solstice under quiescent geomagnetic conditions. Its inclination to the horizon was ~ 45°.
