- Аннотация: Biological indication representing an estimate of the condition and quality of the environment became the most widely used in the 20th century. Already from the 30-ies of the 20th century began to develop, and then applied the various directions of indication. Bioindication objects – there are environmental conditions, the various components of ecosystems and their properties, etc. As biological indicators different visible organisms may be used for monitoring, because of sensitive to environmental conditions changes that can be easily studied. One of the aspects of bioindication, where the indicators are the lichens, is called the lichen-indication. A detailed overview of the standard methods of lichen-indication was carried out in the book "Lichens in ecological monitoring".
