Аннотация:We report on the experiments on second-harmonic generation in plasma created on the surface of a solid target by laser pulses with a duration of 200 fs and intensity of about 10(15) W/cm(2). For both s- and p-polarized pump, an increase in the second-harmonic conversion efficiency is observed under the conditions of resonance excitation of surface electromagnetic waves. The estimations of possible enhancement of the local held in the vicinity of the target surface are made.
