Аннотация:The heat capacity of GaSe was studied by adiabatic calorimetry over the temperature range 14-322 K. At temperatures above 175 K, the heat capacity values were substantially different from those obtained earlier (by approximate to3% at 300 K). The temperature dependences of the thermodynamic functions of gallium selenide (entropy, enthalpy, and reduced Gibbs energy) were calculated from smoothed heat capacity values. The thermodynamic properties of GaSe under standard conditions were found to be C(p)degrees(298.15 K) = 47.67 +/- 0.09 J/(mol K), Sdegrees(298.15 K) = 70.17 +/- 0.10 J/(mol K), Hdegrees(298.15 K) - Hdegrees(0) = 9.972 +/- 0.020 kJ/mol, and Phidegrees(298.15 K) = 36.72 +/- 0.07 J/(mol K). The Debye temperature of GaSe calculated from the heat capacity data was Theta(D)(infinity) = 350 +/- 15 K.
