Аннотация:
An independent study has been made of the equilibria in reactions between high-molecular poly-N,N-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate and oligo- and polyphosphates; these equilibria describe the reversible association of chemically complementary macromolecules (equilibrium I) and the reversible chemical reaction between links of oppositely charged polyelectrolytes (equilibrium II). It is found that the oligo- and polyphosphates are uniformly distributed between the polycation macromolecules. It has been shown that the reactions between chemically complementary macromolecules having degrees of polymerization (P ∼ 1000) are satisfactorily described in terms of equilibrium II alone and they may be considered as chemical transformations occurring in complex particles. The interactions between oligomeric molecules (P ∼ 4-10) and high-molecular weight chains can be described in terms of equilibrium I, that is, they occur by the successive addition of individual oligomer molecules to the high-molecular chain, practically all the links of the oligomeric particle forming chemical bonds with the high-molecular weight chain. The complete analysis of equilibria in the intermacro-molecular reactions rests on the joint consideration of both the types of equilibria mentioned. © 1981.
