- Аннотация: The analysis of 16th-17th-century Portuguese linguistic writings (grammars and treatises on Portuguese, Latin, Hebrew, Tupi, Konkani, developing numerous topics: language apology, norm and system, universal language, linguistic history, language teaching etc.), taking into account the grammatical tradition and sociocultural context, demonstrates the importance of studying a large corpus of linguistic writings, helps to see into the process of linguistic conceptions’ formation and their components’ accumulation, allows to have a more precise idea of scientific paradigm as applied to linguistic history and to propose the concept of interparadigmatic periods and alternation of the two hyperparadigms.
