Аннотация:The effects of coherent laser and incoherent light-emitting diode radiation in the red range of the spectrum on morphological parameters of rat model wounds and functional activity of wound exudate leukocytes were compared. The model of cut aseptic wounds proposed by Slutskii was used. A comparative histological analysis of wound healing dynamics demonstrated that irradiation with a He-Ne laser stimulated transition of the inflammatory phase of wound healing into the reparative (proliferative) phase followed by the scarring phase. In respect to all parameters of the reparative process, wound healing in the animals irradiated with incoherent red light nearly completely coincided by day 11 with the wound healing in the animal group irradiated with a laser. Changes in the functional activity of wound-exudate leukocytes at various irradiation doses in the experimental groups were analogous. No essential distinctions between the effects of coherent and incoherent radiation on wound healing and the activity of wound exudate leukocytes were found. Thus, coherence of laser radiation is not necessary for its healing action.
