Аннотация:Morphology of two extremely rare European species, Ovalona karelica (Stenroos 1987) and Graptoleberis smirnovi sp. n., of the subfamily Aloninae is studied in populations from the Nizhniy Novgorod Area, Russia.Graptoleberis smirnovi sp. n. differs from all other species of the genus in the unique morphology of the labrum, having a long, narrow, serrate process at the apex. Morphologically, it is close to another rare Europeanspecies, Graptoleberis pannonica Daday 1904. The taxonomic positions and distributions of the study speciesare discussed.
