Аннотация:The distribution of Zn, Pb, and Cu in aureoles around veins with Pb-Zn mineralization was studied at a number of mineral deposits in the Sadon base-metal mining district. Data on 24 detailed profiles across near-vein aureoles (with sampling sites spaced 2-5 cm apart) revealed certain regularities in the distribution of these elements. The aureoles were classified into several types, which differ in the mechanism of their origin (infiltration-driven deposition aureoles, aureoles of redeposition, and leaching aureoles). The structure of the aureoles is determined by the direction of fluid filtration, the position of the profiles relative to fluid-conducting tectonic structures and to the level of the orebody along its dip, compositional evolution of hydrothermal solutions, and some other features. Elements of a genetic model were developed for the formation of ore mineralization and aureoles.
