Аннотация:This paper deals with the singularity of the electromagnetic field near the edge of an infinite cylinder with ogival cross-section. The topic of this paper is connected to the problem of reducing measurement uncertainty in anechoic chambers as the stand on which the object, studied in an anechoic chamber, is placed usually has a shape of an inclined cylinder with a biangle (a shape formed by the intersection of two circles) in cross-section. It is known that electromagnetic field may have singularities near irregular points of the surface which may slow down the convergence of numerical methods, which is why it would be useful to study the properties of the field near the edge. The field is represented as a sum of a singular part and a smooth additive, which is evaluated through norm of the functional space, first introduced by V.A.Kondratiev.
