- Аннотация: The present article discusses the process of modifying the COVID-19 conceptual and terminological apparatus in the context of the 2020 pandemic. Dealing with basic terms reveals how misinterpretation of fundamental concepts or meanings of a term can lead to the formation of misunderstanding and cause misinforming of the global community. The article focuses on a specific status of term formation process and translation during the pandemic, the unprecedented speed and global scale of the processes in science and society currently reflected in the global language.
