Аннотация:The article presents the results of an experimental study of phonosemantics. The phonosemantic study included two experiments: a survey of subjects (informants) and an analysis of the phonosemantic features of the prayers “Our Father” and “Hail Mary…” in Russian, Serbian and Greek based on a special program in the Python 3 programming language. A clear connection was established between the plane of expression and the plane of content for the languages under study. The results of the study of these Orthodox prayers make it possible to suggest the conscious use of certain techniques to create an emotional impact on the listener, which is especially evident in Greek prayers. In the study, sound is defined as a spoken-language correlate of the phonemes of a particular language.
