Аннотация:The paper presents a methodology for assessing the risks of stability in the operation of solar power stations using geoinformation technologies. The main feature of the technique is the study of the variability of solar radiation on the Earth’s surface during long-term periods. Calculations of the intra-annual course of the variability of the statistical characteristics of the total solar radiation for a number of regions of Russia were carried out according to the NASA POWER database. When using geoinformation technologies, estimates were made of the distribution of characteristics of variability in time of solar radiation input in the area of regions of the Russian Federation: the Republic of Altai and the Orenburg oblast. Zoning made it possible to identify territories where a more detailed analysis of risks in the stability of electricity generation was carried out and a comparison was made with the calculated values of the capacity factor at functioning solar power plants.
