Аннотация:Purpose. To demonstrate the potential of T1 MP2RAGE pulse sequence in lesion assessmentin the brain and spinal cord in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS).Materials and methods. We present several patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who underwent brain MRI on a Siemens Magnetom Prisma scanner (3 Tesla) using standard (T2,T2 FLAIR) and additional (T1 MP2RAGE, DIR) pulse sequences to detect lesions of the main localization according to McDonald criteria.Results. T1 MP2RAGE has good contrast and high resolution, hence it allows identify demyelination lesions both in the cervical spinal cord, cerebellum and brainstem, and in the cortical graymatter in a single sequence.Conclusion. The contrast of the T1 MP2RAGE sequence allows both detection of cortical, infratentorial and spinal lesions and simultaneous assessment of lesions in the brain and cervical spinal cord in a single pulse sequence, which can be used to reduce the scanning time. At the sametime, it is possible to detect smaller cortical lesions using T1 MP2RAGE compared t
