Аннотация:According to the results of U–Pb dating of zircons from igneous rocks of Central Chukotka area(the left bank of the Amguema River), there are two granitoid batholiths (Telekai and Chanuan) and a series of smaller bodies formed during the period 143–127 Ma, far beyond the age of most granitoids of North Chukotka (109–100 Ma). Together with previously published data, these results indicate the existence of a subduction-related magmatic belt at the margin of the Chukotka continental block during, at least, the Late Jurassic and Neocomian time span. In addition, the newly obtained Early Jurassic U–Pb age of igneous rocks (~196 Ma) indicates a more protracted magmatic activity at the margin of the Chukotka microcontinent. The emplacement of Albian (106–100 Ma) granitoids of the observed area was controlled by another fault system and probably related to a separate magmatic event.
