Аннотация:The results of numerical study of the parameters of an anomalous DC glow discharge between two plane electrodes located on the same surface are given. A two-dimensional diffusion-drift model of the glow discharge is used. The model consists of the Poisson equation for finding the electricpotential in the discharge gap with taking into account the space charge and positive column regions, as well as the system of continuity equations for electron and molecular nitrogen ion flows. The calculations were performed under the following conditions: the molecular nitrogen pressure is equal to 0.6 Torr, the voltage drop across the electrodes is equal to 430–1500 V, and the electric current across the discharge gap is equal to 10–4–10–2 A. An analysis of modification of the anomalous glow discharge structure with taking into account the magnetic field with the induction of 0.01 T is given.
