Аннотация:The complete plastid genome of New Zealand endemic species Carmichaelia australis was assembled de novo from Next-Generation Sequencing data using CLC Genomics Workbench v.5.5. The plastome is 122,805 bp in length and lacks an inverted repeat (IR) region. The plastid genome of Carmichaelia contains 110 unique genes including 30 tRNA, 4 rRNA, and 76 protein-coding genes. The plastome is characterized by loss of the rps16 gene, intron of rps12, and the first intron of clpP. The overall GC content of Carmichaelia plastid genome is 34.28%. Phylogenetic analysis of 71 protein-coding sequences of 31 plastomes showed that Carmichaelia formed a well-supported clade with Astragalus.
