Simultaneous two-level seismic observations in ultra-high-, very-high- and high-frequency regimes for quantitative evaluation of near-surface geohazardsстатья
Аннотация:We present a novel seismic observation technique for offshore site characterization that is capable of UHR, VHR and HR seismic measurements in one-run. Innovative addition of a deep-tow acquisition section (sparker + hydrophone array) supplies broadband (100-1500 Hz) wide-angle reflection data free of sea-surface ghost waves for the first tens meters of the subsurface.
We also demonstrate a successful application of a sparse-spike acoustic inversion on the data acquired at the site in the Laptev Sea. The inversion significantly complemented to the study of potential geohazards (free gas accumulations, relict permafrost) in the target area.
