Аннотация:An investigation has been made of the influence of additions of an olefin (Ol) (nonene, cyclohexene) on the kinetics of consumption of ethylbenzene hydroperoxide (EBHP) in the presence of a complex molybdenum-containing catalyst (CMC). It has been shown that, despite the change in the activity of the catalyst in the decomposition reaction under the influence of the epoxidation products, the three routes of EBHP consumption that were found earlier are maintained. The presence of monomeric and oligomeric forms of the catalyst must also be taken into account in the modelling of epoxidation. (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
